The following day, 4/03/11, CH. Cherokee Origin Just Johnny was Best of Breed at the Bulldog Club of Pittsburgh Specialty Show.  This was Johnny's 4th show (all Specialties) since earning his championship.  He has been Best In Specialty Show all four times. At the same shows, Cherokee Legend Painted Horse was Winners Dog on Saturday and Winners Dog & Best of Winners on Sunday.  Painted Horse now has 14 points with four majors, all from the Puppy Class. It went very well.  We showed at three Specialty Shows and Rock won all three.  At the BCA-Division I Specialty, Rock won Best of Breed. Rock's daughter, Cherokee Legend Thelma, went Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex.  Thelma, Rock's 21st champion, completed her championship at this show. The following day, Rock won Best of Breed at the Lenape Bulldog Club of Pa.  At the third show, Rock won his 76th Best in Specialty at the Lenape Bulldog Club of Pa.  Thelma was again Best of Opposite Sex. I forgot to mention in our previous news entry that Pretty Boy was again inducted into the Bulldog Club of America Hall of Fame as a 3rd plateau sire, with over 50 champions to his credit.  Only six dogs in the history of our breed have reached this level! Rock was also inducted into the BCA Hall of Fame for siring ten or more champions. I just heard from Kevin O'Brien that Rock's daughter and 18th champion, Cherokee Robin, completed her championship at the Middlesex County Kennel Club.  Congratulations to Denise and Kevin O'Brien. We had a terrific week at the Nationals, lead by Rock. Rock won an Award of Merit at the National and then won the Stud Dog Class.  At the next show, the Bulldog Club of Philadelphia, Rock was Best of Breed and again won the Stud Dog Class.  At the final show, the Bulldog Club of America - Division I, Rock again won Best of Breed and won the Stud Dog class. Our seven month old Hummer daughter, Cherokee Legend Jezebel, also had a great start to her show career.  At the National, Jezebel won the 6-9 month Puppy Bitch class in the Sweepstakes.  At the next show, the Bulldog Club of Philadelphia, she then went on to win the 6-9 month Puppy Bitch class, Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best Puppy.  This was Jezebel's second five point major in five days! On Monday, we went to Madison Square Garden for the Westminster Kennel Club Show. For the second year in a row, Rock was Best of Breed.
